As expected, Florentino Perez is trying to build a team capable of rehabilitating the Real. His tactic his to attract stars and more Spanish players with hundreds of millions of euros.

According to the British newspaper The Daily Mail, the Real Madrid has made an offer of 23 million euros to Liverpool in order to obtain the services of Xabi Alonso.

Unable to hire the player in 2004, the new Madrilan boss wants this time to achieve the transfer of the Basque player, his favorite : “For me, Xabi Alonso was the leading passer in Europe. I would be very happy if we can recruit him but I know that Benitez would not let him slip”.
