PSG : Rothen at Blackburn but …
Even if people of the PSG went to Blackburn for a first contact, there is no indication that Jérôme Rothen will leave Paris quickly.
The parisian staff has sanctioned Rothen in the past and the management does not want to keep the player (Rothen criticized the direction of the club).
But it seems that the player is not very pleased at the idea of playing at Blackburn, although it could be an opportunity to reach the door of big clubs in the Premier League in the future.
Roten expects other bids in Premier League or Liga before taking his decision.
- And Blackburn was awaiting a free option (if for exemple Paris would accept to break its contract now, and avoid to pay Rothen’s salary).
- While Paris asked for 2 to 3 million euros. The finances of the PSG are not extensible. The parisian club wishes to bailout its last investments.
Players and clubs do not seem to be on the same wavelength at the moment.
