French Mercato : Lisandro Lopez at Lyon
The arrival of Lisandro Lopez at Lyon is the first recruitment of the french club for this off-season.
The OL (Olympique Lyonnais) announced Tuesday that they are about to transfer Lisandro Lopez for an amount of 24 million euros.
Lisandro Lopez played in FC Porto for 4 years. He scored 10 goals in 28 Championship matches in 2008-2009 and 24 goals in 27 meetings last season.
The club emphasized that the realization of this transfer will be conditional upon the achievement of an agreement between L’Olympique Lyon and Lisandro Lopez himself, who will also have to do the medical exams. The OL indicates that these two conditions must be fulfilled by 24 July.
Lyon has seen some great players leaving the club during this mercato : his midfielder Juninho, Karim Benzema (transferred for 35 million euros Real Madrid) and Kader Keita (hired by the Galatasaray for 8.5 million euros).
